You Only Have One Chance to Make That Important First Impression

Purchasing a new home is an emotional decision—after all, it is the biggest investment most of us will ever make. Most buyers often make up their minds about whether or not a home meets their lifestyle needs within the first 15 seconds of a viewing. To achieve an outstanding gain in today’s market, sellers must create a model home environment that will grab a buyer’s attention and appeal to their emotions.

A staged home makes that all-important good first impression and leaves a perspective buyer with a lasting positive feeling.

Before & After

  • Professionally staged houses sell 50% faster and for up to 10% over the asking price.

  • 63% of buyers were willing to pay more money for a house that is move-in ready.

  • Statistics show that the investment in staging is dramatically less than the cost of a price reduction.

A professional "Stager" will handle all your staging needs. They will provide low-cost services and high-impact design solutions that will highlight your home’s best features and increase its marketability.

Here's how it works:

  • We’ll provide a 90-minute personalized in-home consultation at NO COST to you, if you decide to stage your home with Designed To Move.

  • We’ll draft a comprehensive report outlining room-by-room recommendations to get the property into ‘show home’ condition.

  • Then the work begins! Staging services include decluttering, furniture rearrangement, painting, repairs, and furniture and accessory rentals, if required.

You Only Have One Chance to Make That Important First Impression

Don’t take chances with your largest investment. A staged home will help potential buyers see how they can make your house their new home.

There are several staging programs that will assist  homeowner's by allowing them to have as much or as little involvement in the staging process as they wish.

Require approximately 90 minutes to tour the home inside and out. When completed, a comprehensive, personalized staging report detailing room-by-room recommendations will be provided to the homeowner within 24 hours.

Flexible Staging Program
Category 1: The homeowner completes the staging process themselves using a stager's comprehensive, personalized staging report as their guide.

Category 2: The homeowner chooses to have some involvement in the staging process such as packing, de-cluttering, depersonalizing, painting and repairs. The stager will then return to complete the staging project. This includes:

Category 3: The stager offers a complete service to those homeowners who do not have the time or do not wish to participate in the staging process. This includes:

  • Rearranging furniture and accessories

  • Recommending paint colours

  • Organizing trades people to paint and make repairs

  • Coordinating furniture and accessory rentals

A stager can offer an optional range of services to assist with the transition into the new home.

They will handle all elements of the move, including:

  • Recommending the best moving companies

  • Assisting with packing and unpacking
